Conferences
In the event that we’re able to hold parent/teacher conferences next week, Mr. Riler will only be available on Tuesday, November 21st. The band will be finishing up WIBC with a concert in the late morning / early afternoon and then traveling home on that Monday.
Director’s Note
Happy Monday,
I certainly miss working with our awesome student musicians. Hopefully you are hearing music coming from these awesome student musicians’ instruments during our time away.
With grading being delayed, students can still submit recordings for any baseline assessments that they have missed to get all caught up.
We are experiencing “No School November” at another level, but I’m sure we will bounce back quickly once we return. Being an optimist, I am looking forward to seeing everyone soon. Until we meet again!
Musically Yours,
Gary Riler
**October 30 – Pie Pickup**
The Willamette Valley pies delivery is today—Monday, October 30th. All orders will be available for pick-up in the cafeteria from 3:30–5:30pm only. Please note that we have no facilities for storing frozen pies after that time. Pies that are not picked up by 5:30pm will be donated to CHS Staff. Please contact Michelle Lee at president@clevelandbandspdx.com with questions or concerns.
Congratulations to our student salespeople. They sold a whopping 312 pies for a profit of $3,458, to be credited to the costs of the individual students’ Disneyland trips.
