FOCB Meeting Tonight, Monday, April 14
The next FOCB board meeting is tonight, Monday, April 14th at 6:30 pm.
If you’re interested in getting involved with us and help support our band program, this meeting is the perfect opportunity to get plugged in! Someone will be at the back entrance gate on SE 28th just before 6:30 pm to let you in. Email info@clevelandbandspdx.
Instrument Step Up (April 7-21)
The next couple weeks we will have step up instruments from Beacock Music for students to try. At the end of the two-week period, families that are interested in helping their young musicians move into a better instrument can set up a session with Beacock Music in the Cleveland band room to discuss options. A letter with more details will be coming via email on April 3rd.
Volunteer Background Checks
Planning to volunteer with our band program? If you might have unsupervised contact with students (including as a field trip chaperone), PPS requires volunteers to complete a background check at https://www.pps.net/volunteer.
This quick process only needs to be completed once every three years and you may have already completed it if you have volunteered elsewhere in Portland Public Schools.
